Welcome to ESM 2024 in Berlin
The ESM was established to strengthen the bonds within the European synapse community. It was first held in Bordeaux in 2007 and successfully continued at different European locations. The 9th ESM will be hosted by Campus Buch, home to the Leibniz-Forschungs-institut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) and the Max Delbrück Center (MDC).

You must pick up your badge at the Registration Desk on the day of the meeting.
Certificates of Attendance will be sent by e-mail after the end of the meeting.
Poster Information:
Posters should be A0 size (841 x 1189 mm) and can be designed in portrait or landscape format.

Travel Information
Airport
Travelers arriving by plane may fly to the Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER).
An airport shuttle train (FEX) provides a quick connection to the city.
Train
For those traveling by train, we recommend arriving at Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof).
From Berlin City to Campus Berlin-Buch
From the city center of Berlin, please use the S-Bahn line S2 in the direction of Bernau/Buch to the station Berlin Buch. From there, bus 353 runs in the direction of Campus Buch. Please use this bus until the end of the line.
You will need a ticket before you start your journey, which you must also validate at the platform beforehand. A single trip in Berlin costs 3,50€.
